How do I get an appointment for a new tattoo?

I open my books three times a year and will always post booking instructions on my social platforms as well as through email to my subscribers. I sort through ideas and will require a follow-up consultation to get the appointment sorted out in 15 minutes. I am appointment only and tattoo Wednesday - Friday.

What are your rates?

$200/hour for most general locations (neck, spine, stomach may increase price), $500 minimum. Time starts no later that 30 minutes after your appointment time. I can give price estimates, but they are not quotes, and are subject to change. Items calculated into my rates include: years of fine art education and skill building, procedure supplies, booth fees, and tattooing experience.

Why do you close your books?

I only like to book four months at a time. I can make sure I take as much self-care and “me time” that I need. Closing my books allows me temporary ease from the need to continuously stay on top of navigating my schedule and focus on the current projects. I’ve found opening up three times a year for about 30 inquiries each time to work best for me. As I take on larger and larger pieces that require multiple appointments, the number of individual clients I can accept decreases.

What If I want something small?

I offer monthly-ish Tiny Tattoo Palooza events at my studio for 4in or less appointments (hadwriting, words, simple bouquet, symbols, etc.) for $150 minimum

Do you have a wait-list?

No, I post last minute openings exclusively on my Instagram “Cancellations and Updates” channel

Do you do pop-ups?

Yes! I offer private and public off-site event packages. Public events are pre-drawn designs, first come first served basis.

Can i get a consultation outside of your booking window

No. You will need to submit your rough idea to the best of your ability in the booking form when my books open.

Do you do cover-ups?

Stylistically, my fineline work does not make for an effective cover-up option. So this really depends on what it is, how big you want to go, and what style

NOTE - a cover-up will have to be almost double in size, and darker.

Do clients tip?

Yes, ~90% of my clients tip in some form or another. Please know I pay myself a livable wage and tipping is not expected. Also, 20% tip on something as expensive as a tattoo is a lot to ask of someone. You can also tip in treats, handmade art, plants and other goodies.

I’m from a few hours away, can I do a consultation virtually?

Totally! Just text me a reminder beforehand.

What happens at the consultation?

We will meet and discus location, style, and expectations for the potential tattoo. Reasons I might decline a piece include: a style I am unfamiliar with, subject matter that does not fit my interests, harmful imagery.

What style do you tattoo?

Fine line, floral, feminine, black and grey realism, whimsical/fantasy.

What does “trauma-informed” mean?

When I am not tattooing, I am actually a licensed art therapist. As of yet, there isn’t a “professional” way of bridging this gap between doing therapy in accordance to the ethical guidelines and also tattooing the client. I have also participated in trauma-informed tattooing workshops.

Will you come back to Colorado?

Yes babes! I owe my career to my Colorado clients. I have plenty of ties there to guest spot in different studios. I imagine I’ll be back about quarterly. I will post those booking instructions on my socials and email subscription when the time comes!
